Sai Gon – Mekong Delta – Da Lat – Nha Trang – Phan Thiet
(12 days / 11 nights)

Day 1: Arrive Sai Gon
Arrive at the airport and transfer to hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (Sai Gon), a city hides its charm by blending the colonial style buildings and the splendid modern architecture.

Day 2: Sai Gon
City tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City taking in such sights as the Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, history museum of ancient objects and historical development. Visit Giac Lam Pagoda, the most ancient pagoda in Sai Gon. A huge collection of old statues and furnishings will keep you interested. Visit a handicraft factory and watch lacquer ware being made.

Day 3: Sai Gon – Cu Chi – Tay Ninh
You take an excursion to Cu Chi to visit the impressive underground 200km tunnel network to have some ideas about the struggle of Vietnamese for their independence. Then drive to Tay Ninh, a home to the esoteric Cao Dai religion and a fusion of western and eastern philosophies and teachings. You visit colorful Great Cao Dai Temple to witness noontime prayer during which priests in colored cloaks and white turbans chant before the large “All-Seeing-Eye”. Come back to Sai Gon.

Day 4: Sai Gon – My Tho – Can Tho
Drive to My Tho, the first bustling town of the Mekong Delta, a comfortable two-hour drive through fertile paddy fields from Sai Gon. You will enjoy a cruise on boats and hand-rowing sampans, viewing the daily activities of the local people along the tributaries of the Mekong River. You will roam on the orchard islets where almost all the tropical fruits of southern Viet Nam ananas, mango, melon, mangos teen, and banana can be found and tasted. Moreover, you will have opportunities to observe how people cultivate fruit trees and collect honey at local gardens. Drive to Can Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta.

Day 5: Can Tho – Sai Gon
You visit Cai Rang floating market early in the morning. On many small canals, you can visualize the children go to school by boat, or the women go to the market with the face wreathed in smiles, every herds of duck swim around… This is actually a simple local life without make up. Everything is held completely lively on water. Thereafter drive back to Sai Gon. Visit China town and Thien Hau temple before check in to hotel. Free in the evening.

Day 6: Sai Gon – Da Lat
Drive about 300 km to Da Lat, which is well-known for its naturral charm and beauty. Many people do not hesitate to call this city by tenderly name as “City of flowers”, “City of Love”. Visit Prenn waterfall, which located at the foot of Prenn Mountain Pass. Go shopping at Da Lat market.

Day 7: Da Lat – Nha Trang
Leave Da Lat for a trip to Nha Trang through Ngoan Muc Pass. Nha Trang is located in the ancient religious area of Cham. Nha Trang is a Cham world that means “the river of mangroves”. So, it is a defect if you do not visit Po Klong Garai towers, which were built by the Cham citizen, on the way to Nha Trang.

Day 8-9: Nha Trang
These are the days for your own relaxed: have sea bath, go for a walk in Nha Trang city to get a panoramic view of Nha Trang with picturesque fishing boats in a tranquil bay or promenade on the beautiful seashore.

Day 10: Nha Trang – Phan Thiet
From Nha Trang you transfer to Phan Thiet, another ideal place for swimming with the lonely and beautiful beaches, shady roads under coconut trees. You stay at a comfortable room decorated from the style bungalow from which you have the sea view and you can walk straight to the seashore. In Phan Thiet, having dinner at terrace with barbecue in candle light is an excellent memory.

Day 11: Phan Thiet
One overnight in Phan Thiet and go swimming.

Day 12: Phan Thiet – Sai Gon / Depart
Return to Sai Gon. Transfer to air port for departure flight.
