HUE – WORLD CULTURE HERITAGE
Sightseeing in and around Hue includes a boat cruise on the Perfume
River to Thien Mu Pagoda, the elaborate mausoleums of Emperor Tu
Duc, the King had his tomb constructed when he was still on the
throne in 1848. It comprises an important number of buildings; man-made
ponds fill of nenuphars and lotuses, crossed by various bridges
and covered by frangipanis. The visit of KhaiDinh’s Tomb,
the combination of Asian and European architecture and decoration
marks the king’s special interest in European civilization
and visit of the Imperial Citadel. |

DA NANG – WITH CHINA BEACH
Visit the Cham museum which houses the largest collection
of Cham sculptures in the country. Situated in the city center,
the crowded Han market is always welcome travelers. Continuing southeast
to China beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Viet Nam, you
will have chance to see the impressive marble mountain caves such
as Huyen Khong, Tang Chon… and the South beautiful China Sea.
The souvenirs from marble are easily found everywhere in villages
at the foot of the mountain. They are neatly made by hand for sale.

DAY TRIPS FROM HOI AN

HOI AN – ANCIENT TOWN
A full day trip around Hoi An, a major Asian trading port during the
17-18 th century and much of the architecture has been preserved
from those days. Hoi An located 25 km southeast of Da Nang at Thu
Bon River. Enjoy a walking tour along the narrow streets of this oldest.
Visit ancient house built nearly 400 years ago, Hoi An museum. Stop
at Temple Bridge memorializing the Japanese trade in the 17 th
century. Wander along the Hoai river bank to see the sampans and fishing
boats. |
MY SON – CHAM HOLYSEE
3 km walk on foot on the path to the valley surrounded by
mountains, where the ruin of the temple city My Son remains. My Son
was the former capital of the Cham civilization and is one of best-preserved
and remaining structures of these lost people. This place was first
established as a holy site under King Bhadravarman I in the 4 th
century. Most of the temples have been consecrated to God Shiva, who
was regarded as the founder and protector of Champa's dynasties. There
were originally 700 towers with the typical architecture of Champa:
rectangular, from red bricks tone and without mortar. |
