Ho Chi Minh City - Chau Doc - Vinh Long
(3 days / 2 nights)Three days on the complex maze of the Mekong Delta is hardly enough for some people, but this tour gives a taste of life on the mighty Mekong River and its tributaries. The tour starts in Ho Chi Minh City and travels to the provincial town of My Tho. Here we will board boats for a river cruise that will enable us to view this amazing area as the locals do. Gliding on the bustling waterways, we will view floating markets, eat tropical fruits in lush orchards, look the ancient art of Bonsai and have tea in a typical riverboat house.
Following this, we will move on to another stop, the Xeo Quyt Forest, which was an old Viet Cong stronghold during the American War. We will continue to approach Chau Doc to visit Sam Mountain, which we climb for a birds eye view over the paddy fields towards Cambodia. For those who would prefer, there will be the option to drive up the mountain. We will also visit typical houseboats that double as productive fish farms. From Chau Doc we will continue to Vinh Long via Can Tho for the second night. Before we start our journey back to Ho Chi Minh City we will experience another floating market and have a short stroll around town.

Day 02: Chau Doc - Vinh Long.
Day 03: Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh City
