Our adventure begins with a 0630 departure bound for Hai Phong to board a ferry to Cat Ba Island. We visit Cat Ba National Park, the old military hospital cave and the local markets before Kayaking in the afternoon. Our first campsite will be Ba Cat Beach where we explore the surrounding area in our kayaks. From Ba Cat we have approximately 3 hours of paddling to reach Titop Island. For those who wish, we can do some more exploration around the island in the afternoon. Tonight we spend the night on board. Day 4 is a day for R&R as we weigh anchor and cruise to one of the most beautiful, untouched islands in Ha Long Bay, Quan Lan Island. With two nights here, there will be time for exploring the surrounding area and visiting a fishing village for an insight into local customs and lifestyles. These people rarely have contact with foreigners. Day 6 we bid our isolated island paradise farewell for a seven-hour cruise back to Ha Long City and our hotel. The last morning we have a five-hour drive back to Ha Noi, arriving around lunchtime.
