Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long
(2 days / 1 night)This 2-day trip offers a glimpse into the agrarian life of the vibrant southern Delta region as we wind our way through the tributaries of the Mekong. From our boat, we are able to closely observe the daily river life and participate in the bustling commerce activities as we buy fruit from floating market. Along the way, we will visit a tropical orchard, a handicraft village and the land market, abundant in colorful fresh fruits and vegetables. Starting from Sai Gon, we travel to the provincial city of Vinh Long via the town of My Tho, where we visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Dong Tam Snake Farm and a local market. At the end of the day one, we will finish our cruise at the home of a local family. We will spend the night with them in their stilt house built out over the Mekong River. Following breakfast on day two, we board our boats once again to visit the Cai Be floating markets before driving back to Sai Gon.
