Forest products like bear hides, forest leaves used as medicine, honey, stuffed reindeers are common. Here, local food generally consists of forest products and trees of deep and strong fragrance.

Tam Thanh Caves

Tam Thanh CaveThese three grottoes in Lang Son were formed inside the limestone mountain. The most interesting cave is the Third Thanh with the shape of a lady waiting on the mountain.

Legends said that a lady and her child were waiting for her husband, a combatant who left home for the war. She kept waiting for him, but there was no news from him. She herself and her child became stone. They stand waiting forever.
